We are seeking a motivated Backend Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team, focusing on developing internal tools that enhance company-wide operational efficiency. In this role, you will contribute to the creation of new features and services, improve existing systems, and further develop your technical skills alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative setting.


You’ll be working on impactful systems used daily by internal stakeholders, with a strong focus on tools that define and manage pricing logic for products on our e-commerce platform.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain internal tools and backend services primarily using Golang, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and usability
  • Implement systems that support setting up and managing product prices, including user interfaces and logic for price configuration
  • Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand user needs and deliver quality solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that follows best practices.
    Participate in code reviews and give/receive constructive feedback to improve team quality and consistency
  • Debug and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth operation of critical internal systems
  • Proactively contribute to process improvements, automation, and documentation.
    Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development practices.

Your Profile

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in software development
  • Solid Go programming skills
  • Familiarity with React is a plus
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns, etc.)
  • Familiarity with databases, RESTful APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Experience working in an Agile or cross-functional team environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and grow
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
